November 2011
Wow, what a great month we are having. The boys are going to be flat out for the next three weeks clearing a trail for heavy machinery up to the slip face in the gorge, which will hopefully speed up the process for preventing future slips at that point. Hooray! But the even better news is that when they have done that they will be continuing through to the other end of the gorge and when the machinery has disappeared the track will be a mountain biking track, complete with gorgeous views and challenges!
We are getting pretty well booked leading up to Christmas so if you have a job that needs doing, now is the time to ring. :)

- Now is the perfect time to get busy with landscape planning and construction while its not too wet and not too dry.
- David has arrived, and has taken to his new home in New Zealand with alacrity. His skills as a fully qualified carpenter/joiner as well as his fifteen years in the aboriculture industry will be most useful in providing you with an ever expanding comprehensive service.
- Don't forget, Darryl and Jonas offer a free appraisal within the Palmerston North area on your trees and any work booked before the end of 2011 will get you a Money Saving Coupon so don't delay!
20th July 2011, welcome to our new feature. We have decided to keep you all informed with regular info slots on our news page.
- Things which are happening at the moment within the company. We have had a change of staff . After having the pleasure of providing our customers with our two high quality arborists from Switzerland for 12 months we have had to say farewell . The two lads were required to return to their Swiss company for the European summer.
- We have replaced the Swiss with the English. With the shortage of high quality arborists in New Zealand we have searched far and wide and been fortunate to attract two qualified staff from the U.K. Richard started two months ago and Dave will arrive at the end of the month.
- We have been working on the Guardian branch in the Hawkes Bay.It is nice to have a break from Palmerston North and enjoy the climate and culture of another region.
- We have a stand at the up and coming Home Show. Our site is G6 and we are in the Arena 3 stadium which is located off Pascal Street, Palmerston North. We would love to see you all so come on in to have a chat.
- Things to watch out for with regards to your trees at this time of the year. Well it is one of those good times to prune. It is cold and not a good time for fungi and bacteria. Especially for you folks with Walnuts and Birch tree, best to prune them before the sap starts to rise in the Spring.
- It is also a good time to thin and get light into those darker areas of the house.
- WE have been undertaking a broad range of work servicing the repeat customer with the anual and bi-anual prune. Also we have been undertaking some larger work for Higgins Contracting helping to keep the state highways clear of hazard trees. The 12 inch chipper has ben working hard.
- Darryl has completed his Diploma in Arboriculture.
- Jonas has been hard at the coal face whil Darryl has been tied to the desk after a knee operation, they call it age related, of course it will take more than a small operation to hold him down!
